William's ThoughtsA plea for help.- an open letter to friends and acquaintances of Daniel and the community. As our family struggles to cope with Daniel’s sudden death, we are still searching for what really happened the beginning of the 2007 fall semester. Since we have no way of gathering this information on our own, we decided to ask for help from our community. We ask anyone who may have any knowledge or was in same class and noticed something that may have caused his action to please let us know. All we want is to know the truth behind his action. Daniel never had any signs of depression. If he was suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) after being attacked during his final exams the end of the spring 2007 semester, we couldn’t see it while he was home in May and June. Even at the end of summer he was looking forward to his senior year and graduating in May. Daniel assured me he was doing well and not to worry about him. Something must have happened toward the first two weeks beginning the fall semester, Daniel just vanished from class. What happened? We may never know.
